Are there any contraindications or precautions I should know about?
Here are Health Canada's contraindications:
- Do not use in immature, pregnant or lactating animals
- Do not use in animals receiving other drugs, unless directed by a veterinarian
- Do not use in animals with diabetes or thyroid disease, unless directed by a veterinarian
- Do not use in animals with autoimmune, heart, kidney or liver disease
- This product is intended for supplemental or intermittent use only
- This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.
- If your dog’s health worsens, stop product usage and consult your veterinarian
- Keep bag out of the reach of animals
- For use in dogs only.
- Do not use in cats.
How is this different from your Calming + Relaxation supplement, and can they be combined?
The Calming supplement is complementary to this product and was built mostly around calming plants as its active ingredients. It's formulated to settle a dog going through one-off stressors like fireworks, car rides, and so on.
The Serenity + Focus supplement is meant for dogs dealing with day-to-day nervousness. That said, for some dogs the Calming + Relaxation product will work better, and for others it'll be the Serenity + Focus.
For dogs with serious anxiety issues, we recommend using both supplements, or better still the cognitive supplement bundle.
Which dogs is this supplement suitable for, and from what age?
This product is suitable for adult dogs that aren't affected by one of the contraindications listed in the first question.
Are the biscuits easy to chew for a small dog or a senior dog?
The biscuits have a crunchy texture that breaks apart easily when bitten.
Where are your biscuits made, and where do your ingredients come from?
Our biscuits are made in Quebec. We prioritize Canadian ingredients whenever they're available; certain actives are not native to Canada and are imported from their region of origin.
For one-off stressors like fireworks or car rides, our calming supplement works with chamomile and valerian.
For dogs with serious anxiety issues, the cognitive supplement bundle combines both formulas.
