Why algae omega-3 instead of fish oil?
Because fish don't make omega-3s — they accumulate them by eating algae. We skip the middleman and go straight to the source. Our algae grow in closed cultivation, away from ocean contaminants, and our EPA comes in polar lipid form, which the body absorbs more readily. No fish caught, no smell, no bottle going rancid on the counter.
My dog is allergic to fish. Can he take this?
Yes. Our omega-3s come entirely from marine algae, with no animal-derived ingredients. This formula exists precisely for dogs sensitive to fish. As with any new supplement, if your dog has diagnosed allergies, speak with your veterinarian before starting.
Will it give my dog fishy breath?
No. Fishy smell comes from marine oils oxidizing on contact with air — a problem specific to bottles opened daily. Our omega-3s are sealed in a capsule and never meet the air before being swallowed. No smell on his breath, on your fingers, or on the counter.
How should the capsules be stored?
In a cool, dry place away from direct light. Close the container well after each use and avoid extreme temperatures (heat or cold). No refrigeration needed, unlike bottled fish oil which oxidizes from the first opening.
How long before I see a difference in his coat?
After 2 weeks, you will see a noticeable difference in the softness of his coat, provided you have given the required number of capsules daily.
Is it suitable for puppies?
Yes, omega-3s are suitable for all life stages: puppies, adults and seniors.
